Sunday Morning Music Trivia

From the album "Jazz From Hell", G-Spot Tornado was originally composed and performed on a Synclavier, and Frank Zappa felt it could not be performed by humans. It was eventually performed live by Ensemble Modern. "Jazz From Hell" is the only instrumental album in history to be labeled with the Parental Advisory sticker, most likely in retaliation for Zappa's congressional testimony against the RIAA.

  1. Great post. I had heard the synclavier version many times, but never the live production. Thank you for sharing.
